ABSTRACT
Incidentaloma is a term commonly used to indicate an asymptomatic tumor (benign or malignant) unexpectedly discovered during imaging procedures performed for other purposes. According to this denition, a thyroid swelling not visible or palpable upon neck inspection is a thyroid incidentaloma.
