ABSTRACT
Several powerful methods use the specicity of the antigen-antibody interaction to indicate the presence of particular proteins in samples. These include western blotting, immunoprecipitation (IP), immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry, and many other immunoassays, including RIA, homogeneous enzyme immunoassay (EIA), and heterogeneous EIA (ELISA).
