ABSTRACT
Composites have brought in a revolution in the ™elds of aerospace, defense, sports, land and water transport, and marine and offshore structures. The unique characteristics and properties such as high-speci™c strength and stiffness, good fatigue and creep resistance, capability of molding into complex shapes, ability for building in multifunctionality, and excellent corrosion resistance have made composites a promising replacement to traditional materials in various applications.
