ABSTRACT
The existence, awareness, and implementation of the data classification policy indicate the seriousness with which an organization treats the privacy of their employees and customers. All enterprises need to be aware of the type of data/information they collect, store, process, transmit/share, and destroy or archive. In this chapter, data and information have been used interchangeably.
