ABSTRACT
The Open Data Protocol (OData) is an ongoing effort * to define a universal application-level protocol to access any kind of data available on the web. According to its designers, OData is considered open not only because it is designed through an open process and open license but also because it opens silos of data to the web (Pizzo 2012).
