ECOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES

Ecology is the study of relationships between the biotic and abiotic components of an ecosystem. It’s a complex and complicated subject, but for our purposes we can distill it down to four fundamental ecological principles: Diversity, Interrelationships, Cycles, and Energy (DICE).
