Advances in Poly(amino acid)s–Based Amphiphilic Graft Polymers and Their Biomedical Applications

Graft polymers comprise a general class of random copolymers that have a linear and long main backbone with randomly distributed side chains. Graft polymers have been used in polymer industrial applications for impact-resistant materials, compatibilizers, and emulsiers. These comb-type graft polymers have adjustable polymer properties, which can be achieved by controlling the number and length of the branches, as well as through monomer selection.
