ABSTRACT
University of Texas at Austin, Charles Whitman, 1966 Stage 1 of the Disaster You are president of a prestigious university located in a midsized town. Your university has a very large student population and a large campus with numerous buildings. You have just been notified that the university police have cited a student for dragging a deer carcass through the dormitory and for skinning the deer carcass in the dormitory shower. The student had shot and killed the deer during a hunting trip (Lavergne, 1997). You find out that the student is not performing well in his academic pursuits.
