ABSTRACT

Creating the conditions for service innovation to flourish should not be taken lightly. In fact, creating a proper environment is one of the biggest challenges you may undertake. Allowing people to experiment with the ingredients in a service recipe that took long to perfect is always difficult. The way I approach this is to let people know that anything can be improved. In fact, I will create a large poster, and put that headline in a conference room for a team meeting and let everyone know that it’s expected that we start challenging the status quo.
