The decade between 2001 and 2011 has been a remarkable time in world history. On September 11, 2001, the world’s unquestioned superpower experienced a series of attacks by a stateless agent. These attacks ignited a response that has resulted in billions of dollars expended, thousands of lives lost, countless injured, national governments changing, and a physical and psychological clash of cultures that continues to this day.
