and consistency to the important first section of the application.

The Organizational Profile is a snapshot of your organization, the key influences on

how you operate, and the key challenges you face. This section of your application

sets the stage for evaluating how relevant certain factors are to your situation and

organization and can make a huge difference in how the examiners judge your

application. In previous versions of the criteria, the content of this section was,

more or less, left up to the applicant. Certain facts were asked for such as the type of

organization, its customers, products/services, etc. However, many applicants failed

to identify the significant factors in the business environment that might impact their

future success, as well as other important information, such as threats from competitors.
