ABSTRACT
Micromechanics is the study of composite materials taking into account the interaction of the constituent materials in detail. Micromechanics allows the designer to represent an heterogeneous material (see Section 4.1.3) as an equivalent homogeneous material, usually anisotropic (see Section 4.1.4 and Figure 4.1).
