ABSTRACT
This sentence was used in a report released in the late 1960s by Boeing’s military department (Ryan and Springer, 1969). The program objective was to develop the šrst known digital human model to simulate motions of any sized human operator at any particular workstation. Even if DHM seems to be quite recent for some people, this reference conšrms that it has been around for a while.
