ABSTRACT
Let us study the compression thermopump, shown in Section 14.4.2 and represented in Figure 14.28 (Vol. I). Figures 14.29 and 14.30 (Vol. I) represent the thermodynamic cycle of the system in the T -s and lnP -v diagrams. The objective of the exercise is to find the energy and exergy performances of the system, indicated in Table 14.6 (Vol. I).
