ABSTRACT

Overview ’e human resource (HR) factor in outpatient settings promotes a preventive and systematic people program that results in successful outcomes for the patients that we serve. ’e HR factor covers employees, physicians, allied health professionals, contract workers, vendors, and volunteers. Each group requires different levels of oversight and management when it comes to meeting state, federal, and regulatory requirements. In addition, the HR factor can make or break any business. ’e HR factor relies on alignment with specialized workers to deliver care and service as it relates to the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
