ABSTRACT
In modern societies the risk of explosive incidents is signi‚cant. Numerous businesses manufacture, transport, and employ low and high explosives in daily operations (i.e., mining and demolition). In addition, explosives continue to be the weapon of choice for terrorists worldwide-of all the weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive) reportedly used, the most commonly employed by far, are explosive devices.
