Employed Physicians in the Hospital-Sponsored Practice

In the early 1990s, with the advent of relaxation of corporate practice doctrines in many states, hospitals began hiring physicians at record rates. It seems as though I remember all of this happening about the time that the £rst term of the Clinton administration gave rise to accountable health partnerships, purchasing alliances, and a new, more aligned delivery system of healthcare.
