ABSTRACT
Tissue culture is an excellent way to micropropagate thousands of copies of a single plant. However, as with all good things, sometimes micropropagation goes awry. Sometimes cloned plants don’t come out of tissue culture exactly like their parent. This problem has been termed somaclonal variation.
