ABSTRACT
Before we continue our aquatic journey down-gradient toward the sea, we must consider two other systems in addition to natural lakes that might store our drop of water. These systems are hard to characterize as ‘sh habitat because they are so diverse in size and attributes. The most conspicuous and, thus, familiar of these are arti‘cial lakes.
