ABSTRACT
Biological macromolecules, such as proteins and DNAs, are responsible for a number of biological functions necessary for the maintenance of life. Proteins exist in an environment consisting mainly of water, in which many of them fold into compact, well-dened folded structures, in order to perform their functions.
