Many cardiac arrests are poorly managed because of disorganization of the cardiac arrest team and a lack of knowledge about recommended procedures by its members. In particular, arrhythmias are frequently incorrectly diagnosed and treated. The rapid identification and treatment of arrhythmias are a cornerstone of successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and for this reason we have included this section on CPR to help you answer the following questions:
