ABSTRACT
The information space on the Internet we call the World Wide Web continues to grow, offer-ing seemingly unlimited potential for the creation, storage and dissemination of information. Within healthcare, the Web is seen as offering us an answer to everything from the integration of our fragmented information systems, the delivery of accurate information to consumers, evidence-based medicine and the electronic medical record (EMR).
