ABSTRACT
A vendor sold land in New Zealand to a purchaser who wished to use it for sheep farming, although it had not been used for that purpose. The vendor, when asked by the purchaser, roughly estimated that the land could support 2,000 sheep, although it was actually impractical for sheep farming. The purchaser sued.
