For these reasons, the approach to the examination of the CVS must be systematic, accurately documented and repeated frequently. The effect of any intervention, such as fluid administration, must be re-assessed to ensure its efficacy and durability. It is also imperative to pay great attention to a patient’s concurrent cardiac medications.
