ABSTRACT
In all cases the possessive agrees with the number and-in some cases-the gender of the thing possessed, not of the possessor, so one says nuestro jardín ‘our garden’ but nuestra casa ‘our house’, mi libro ‘my book’, but mis libros ‘my books’. All forms agree in number, but only those whose masculine singular ends in - o agree in gender.
