ABSTRACT
Plain radiography is requested to investigate the presence of soft-tissue swellings and their effects on the air passages, as well as to locate the presence of foreign bodies or assess laryngeal trauma. Tomography, computed tomography (CT) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may be needed for full evaluation of other disease processes.
