ABSTRACT
Once good evidence for the effectiveness of an intervention has accumulated through summative evaluations, the time may arrive when it is ready for wider adoption. In this implementation stage of the information and communication technology life cycle, different organizations acquire and then embed new systems into their existing processes. Implementation has long been considered a pragmatic or real world phase and the domain of good project management and pragmatic engineering methods.
