ABSTRACT
The gradual onset of testicular pain and the long duration points to an inflammatory condition rather than torsion. The association of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTSs), such as frequency and dysuria, make epididymitis the likely diagnosis. The most likely infective organism in a man with epididymitis in this age group is Chlamydia trachomatis.
