ABSTRACT
We keep the notation of Chapter 6. In particular, X is a scheme of finite type over Z ; we denote by X0 the corresponding Q-variety, i.e. X/Q. The main difference with Chapter 6 is that, instead of looking at congruence properties of NX(p), we look at its size.
