During consumption of food (meat, milk, eggs, etc.) of animal origin, it is possible to come into contact with various toxicants originating from feed of plant origin such as mycotoxins, veterinary drug and pesticide residues, endogenous toxicants of plants, and so forth. e list of endogenous animal food toxicants is not very long. Over the last few years, much has been spoken and written, for example, about prions.
