ABSTRACT
Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and also high-performance TLC (HPTLC) are important tools for screening of pharmaceuticals, giving reliable results with low costs, consuming less time, and more exibility than other analytical method. They are used for the quality control of drug constituents, in the investigation of pharmaceutical active compounds and their degradation impurities, as well as in their analysis of biological samples.
