Bayesian Adaptive Designs

ABSTRACT Bayesian analysis facilitates the incorporation of information from many sources and is particularly well suited for the ongoing learning character of comparative effectiveness research. This chapter discusses the use of Bayesian analysis in comparative effectiveness research and focuses on the design and analysis of studies using adaptive designs.
