ABSTRACT

Introduction This textbook is dedicated to the notion that project managers (PMs) use many tools and techniques. The text is organized and designed essentially around the life cycle of the project. It provides PMs with a toolkit needed to successfully carry out and lead projects. The amount of theory discussed is minimized as the primary focus is a how-to book but with a theoretical project management model as a basis. Therefore, it is a mechanics-oriented approach versus a theoretical one.
