ABSTRACT

Introduction Most organizations have many new project requests but not enough money, time, equipment, or resources available to implement all of them. Therefore, an organization needs to develop a selection process that is utilized consistently throughout the organization to pick the projects that are right or rather will most benefit the organization. It is important to note that an organization’s resources are already scarce because they are currently implementing approved projects and/or supporting current systems. In short, organizational resources are limited! Multiple goals frequently impose conflicting demands on resources. This requires a process for allocating resources based on organizational priorities.
