ABSTRACT
The superconducting state of matter occurs in materials at very low temperatures. Only certain materials show the effect. Superconductivity disappears if:
• the temperature is raised above a critical temperature TC ,
• or if an applied magnetic field becomes too large, • or if the current associated with the
superconducting state becomes too large .
