ABSTRACT
In order to provide you with some insight on the possibilities and the potential of medical image processing, we have gathered a few examples of what is being done in hospitals right now using the image processing methods presented in this book. Reference to the algorithms as presented in the volume are given where appropriate. This compilation does not claim to be complete; rather, it is an effort towards linking the concepts you will learn with clinical reality.
