ABSTRACT
A gear train is a system of two or more meshing gears. The simplest system consists of a driver on one shaft meshing with a follower on another shaft. If both gears are external, the shafts rotate in opposite directions. If one of the pair is an internal gear, the two shafts rotate in the same direction.
