ABSTRACT

One of our primary reasons for modeling systems is predicting their dynamic response. It is useful to understand how dynamic states vary with time when excited by inputs. We numerically simulate to predict dynamic responses. Systems can be exposed to a variety of inputs which can generally vary with time. To numerically simulate such responses we must consider a number of things:

B What mathematical formulation might we apply to the models we derived in the previous chapter in order to facilitate predicting and analyzing their dynamic responses?
