ABSTRACT
A major problem with all of the methods of encipherment examined thus far is that the sender and receiver must agree on a key prior to the creation and delivery of the message. This is often inconvenient or impossible. There were some failed attempts to overcome this problem before an elegant solution was found. One is detailed below, before examining current solutions.
