ABSTRACT

The subject of pulse processing for radiation detectors has been developed over a

period of more than seventy years, with first specialized books appearing as early as

in 1953 [8], when electronics was still based on vacuum tubes. Modern treatments

can be found in [9] and in [10]. The topic is also addressed, from the user point of

view, in most textbooks on radiation detectors (see the references of chapter 1 for

a list). The original research material is published in journal papers and conference

proceedings, a small sample of which is included in the bibliography of this chapter.
