ABSTRACT
The main objective of this chapter is to apply the previously studied electrochemical thermodynamics and kinetics for analyzing an important electrochemical phenomenon-corrosion. Pourbaix diagrams, polarization curve, and the rate of the electrochemical corrosion are considered. Main types of corrosion protection and possible kinds of corrosion are mentioned.
