ABSTRACT

Almost all practical high-frequency circuits are composed of two or more transmission lines. These lines are interspersed with series and shunt elements. The problems involving such elements require a large number of numerical and algebraic manipulations for their solutions. Smith chart is an effective tool that significantly reduces these manipulations.
