ABSTRACT
In practice, and especially in geomatics and GIS, at least two things are going on at the same time: for instance, movement in the x-direction and independent movement in the y-direction. The question then becomes, are these somehow interdependent or, put another way, are they correlated? Also, how can we nd the best compromise between all the conicting data?
