ABSTRACT
The recent development of laparoscopic techniques applicable to children has presented the opportunity of managing complex renal duplication anomalies using less invasive methods, without compromising surgical efficacy and safety. This chapter reviews the specific laparoscopic methods appropriate to the management of congenital duplication anomalies. Familiarity with the anatomic and functional implications of these anomalies, as well as of their appropriate evaluation, is presumed.
