ABSTRACT
A loudspeaker generally consists of a loudspeaker driver (or “motor”) and a loudspeaker enclosure. The term loudspeaker is popularly used to describe both the driver and the complete loudspeaker including the enclosure. The ideal loudspeaker would convert the electric signal applied to its terminals into an acoustic signal at listening distance while retaining the waveform.
