ABSTRACT
Besides knitr, there are a large number of other tools for dynamic documents. Some are R packages, and others are tools in other languages such as Python and awk. We give a brief overview of these tools with comparisons to knitr in this chapter, and we especially explain the differences between Sweave and knitr for Sweave users.
