ABSTRACT

Free movement of goods is the main pillar of the member states market in the European Union (EU) as well as the major moving force of competitiveness and economic growth in the EU. Legislation has helped to set basic requirements on products, provide free circulation of goods, and has contributed to nalizing the single market and its proper functioning. A high level of users’ rightful interest protection is set out herein, and especially a high level of occupational health and safety (OHS), which is supposed to be followed. At the same time, it provides businesses with the means of showing equality, which provides the free circulation of goods based on trust in products.
