ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter, we introduced production and replenishment modes for LEAN SCM. These modes determine how production and replenishment are coordinated along a supply chain. The approach we presented entails selecting optimal production and replenishment modes in light of an operations strategy as well as demand-and supply-related factors. In this chapter, we show how to determine the parameters that drive the production and replenishment modes, and how to synchronize those along the supply chain.
