ABSTRACT
LEAN SCM promotes a culture of measurement in the supply chain that allows for a parameter-driven planning approach. Therefore, a welldesigned and executed performance management system is fundamental to LEAN SCM. The good news first: if your company already has an effective performance management system in place, it does not need to change much to adopt LEAN SCM. It just needs to extend its framework in accordance with tailored LEAN SCM metrics and supporting design principles.
