ABSTRACT
From the viewpoints of mitigation in global warming and construction of sustainable society,cleanandhighlyef›cientelectricenergysourceswithoutCO2 emission are stronglydemanded.Polymerelectrolytefuelcell(PEFC)isacleanenergydevice inwhichhydrogenandoxygenarereactedonthecatalystsandthechemicalenergy isdirectlyconvertedintoelectricity.SincethePEFCcangenerateelectricityatan ambientconditionwithhighef›ciency,1kWlevelofcogenerationsystemforhome use (ENE-FARM) has been commercialized from 2009, and the fuel cell vehicle (FCV) will be on the market from 2015 in Japan.1
